  • Can I get more than one sample? How come some samples come in multi-pack bundles instead of singles?

    Sorry. Giving more samples to one person, reduces the number of people who can try new products so we have a strict policy of limiting one sample per user. However, sometimes brands do not have the right product size so instead of one big sample they provide multiple packs of smaller size

  • Why do I need the QR code to unlock the vending machines? Can I use the same QR code for samples more than once?

    QR codes help keep track of who took the samples and this reduces the wastage considerably. These are single use QR codes and the vending machine will recognize real time if the code has already been used before so pls don't share your unique QR code with others or try to re-use it yourself

  • Do I need to pay anything for the samples like a subscription fee?

    NO. The samples are free and provided by the brands. You do not have to pay for them.

  • How can I locate the vending machines? What if the machine is out of samples?

    The app gives you locations of all the vending machines. You can see them on a map or in a list view. Our technology gives us real time inventory of the samples and you can check the number of samples available by vending machine in real time. Our logistics team will also keep re-filling the machines till the sample campaign is over. You can check status in the app.

  • What if the machine is not working properly?

    These are smart vending machines with real time monitoring and our engineering team will ensure these are always functioning properly. However, in case you find any problem then kindly notify us via the app and we will resolve it as soon as we can.

  • What if the sample is not working or is defective?

    We check at our end before re-filling the machines to ensure there is no defective sample but incase something slips through then kindly notify us via the app. If the sample is not defective but you are not happy with the performance then pls do leave a review so that the brand team can act on your feedback.

  • Why do I need to leave a review and rate the product? Is rating and review mandatory?

    Your review will help other users to make more informed decisions and also help brands in improving their products. The promo codes can only be unlocked if you have used the samples and provided your review/rating so we hope you will provide it.

  • What if the information in the brand page or campaign page or posts on my wall is inaccurate, misleading or offensive?

    While we will take care in filtering out any piece of content which we know is false or offensive but the content comes directly from the brands and we will not be able to verify its authenticity. If you come across any such issue then you can leave a comment in the posts or message us and we will engage the brands.

  • Can the promotion code be used more than once?

    Yes. Only the promo codes can be used multiple times depending on the specific campaign but remember that you would still need to buy the products from participating outlets and the promotion will automatically get applied to your bill at the till. The time validity as well as any restriction on number of times redeemed will be specified with each campaign.

  • What if the promotion code is not honored by the participating outlets?

    We will do all necessary pre-testing to ensure that the codes are verifiable by the participating outlet but in case of any issues please message us and we will try to resolve it as soon as possible. From your end kindly make sure that you use the code only in the participating outlets, within the valid time period and within all the conditions set in that particular campaign.

  • How will you use my data?

    Yes you can Opt out from receiving future campaigns by de-registering yourself in the app. However we will not be able to provide you with our services like free samples, promotions codes etc when you de-register. It will take about 6 weeks to purge all your data from our systems. We will also inform our partners with whom your data was shared but we would have not control or confirmation if they actually deleted your information or not.

  • How will you ensure that there is no wastage in sampling?

    We will ensure no wastage by ensuring a) only users fitting your target audience profile get the QR codes, b) each user gets a unique QR code which cannot be re-used, c) we will provide you profile details of all people who redeemed the sample so you can verify that they are all real people and not fake profiles. We will also provide you with 'real time' dashboards on your campaign performances.

  • What kind of data can help us in selecting the target audience for each campaign?

    You will be able to target based on the profile data stored with us eg Gender, Age, Location, Type of device, Interests, Passions, Likes as well as behavioral data like engagement with different posts, sampling campaigns, etc.

  • How long is each sampling campaign?

    Each sampling campaign will last between 10 to 15 days depending on the number and availability of samples.

  • How far out can I plan the sampling campaigns?

    We are working on a brand access portal where you will be able to see the vending machine availability 12 months into the future and you can book machines in advance. No cancellation fee if slot is cancelled or changed upto 8 weeks before the campaign goes Live. After 8 weeks we will charge a fee for cancellation and token fee for change in dates which we will agree when we do the services contract..

  • For how long will I be able to re-target with promotion offers or other content. On data can I re-target?

    There is no time limit and u can choose to re-target even beyond the sample campaign timelines. You can re-target based on profile and/or behavior data like ratings given samples redeemed, interests, etc.

  • How long will it take to set-up a campaign?

    From our end we will need only two weeks but you need to plan at your end as sometimes internal approvals, setting up new vendors etc can take time.

  • How is the sampling cost lower than other methods?

    Our machines are dedicated for sampling purposes and amortized over multiple campaigns so cost of each sample vended is lower than other means like couriers, promoter girls, etc. Contact us at contact@zettalyte.com or +6590287625to discuss more.

  • How will you manage the sample logistics?

    We just need you to transport your samples to our partner's warehouse and we will take care of the rest. Any unused samples you can pick-up from our warehouse.

  • What is the format of content and videos that you need for the posts and brand/campaign pages?

    We need the static files in 1125 by 470 resolution and aspect ratio 2.39:1.

  • How will you help us build our data?

    We have user permissions / Opt-in to share their data with our partners in return for getting free samples, promotions codes, etc. We will share individual level data with you based on user interactions in your campaigns via secure APIs. However, we will no share competition campaign generated data with you and versa.

  • What if users choose to opt out ?

    As per our privacy policy we have taken 6 week's time-frame to make the Opt out effective. Our APIs will share with you any user Opt outs so that you can make the necessary changes in your DMP in that time-frame.
